Notice of Action: At its September 5, 2023 board meeting, the Allegany County Board of Elections voted unanimously to retain the ballot drop box locations at the Allegany County Office Complex and Mountain Ridge High School for the 2024 Presidential Elections. A new camera will be purchased for installation at Mountain Ridge High School. In addition, the board discussed the polling place at District 16-1 and 16-2 (Department of Emergency Services) regarding the layout of the polling room. The board recommended no changes to the layout of the polling room for the 2024 Presidential Elections.
