News Flash

The Allegany County Board of Elections will be conducting the following election related activities that are available for public viewing.  All activities will take place at the Allegany County Office Complex, 701 Kelly Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.

• Mail-in Ballot 1 Canvass – October 21, 2022 at 9:00 AM – Room 100

Note:  Results will be released when permitted by the State Board of Elections after all polls are closed on Election Day.

• Public Demonstration – Monday, October 17, 2022 at 9:00 AM – Room 230

In accordance with the Code of Maryland Regulations Title 33.10.01.16, a public demonstration will take place illustrating how the Pre-Election Logic & Accuracy Test of the EVS Voting Solution has been conducted.  

• Early Voting Results Tabulation – Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM – Room 230

Note:  Results will be released when permitted by the State Board of Elections after all polls are closed on Election Day.

• Mail-in Ballot 1 Canvass – Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM – Room 100

• Provisional Ballot Canvass – Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM – Room 100

• Mail-in Ballot 2 Canvass – Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM – Room 100
