Three of Allegany County Transit’s seven bus lines - Blue, Green, and Gold - will have minor schedule adjustments on July 1, 2017. These small schedule changes are being initiated to improve on-time service. There is now also a color associated with Morning Service – the Silver Line. The Morning Service/Silver Line bus schedule remains the same. The July 1, 2017, schedule is below.
Blue Line Changes
- South Cumberland Marketplace (Save-A-Lot), 1050 Industrial Boulevard. The bus will enter this parking lot for pick-up/drop-off at Save-A-Lot four times a day: 9:11 am, 11:11 am, 2:11 pm, and 4:11 pm. For all other trips, passengers will board on Industrial Boulevard.
- Allegany College of Maryland: The bus will enter the ACM campus for pick-up/drop-off at the main entrance flag pole area four times a day: 8:40 am, 10:40 am, 1:40 pm, and 3:40 pm. For all other trips, passengers will board on Willowbrook Road.
- Cumberland Meadows Apartments, 12510 Old Willow Brook Road SE/Willowbrook Woods Apartments, 10300 Willow Woods Court: The bus will be at these apartments for pick-up/drop-off four times a day: 8:40 am, 10:40 am, 1:40 pm, and 3:40 pm.
Green Line Changes
- Kelly Road for the Riverside YMCA and the Tri-State Community Health Center: The 10:20 am and 3:50 pm times will now be request only stops. If a passenger wants to go to either of these facilities at these two times, simply ask the bus driver to stop at the facility when you board the bus and the driver will be happy to do so.
Gold Line Changes
Frostburg Plaza Shopping Center, 10701 New Georges Creek Road SW:The bus will enter this parking lot for pick-up/drop-off at Xerox (previously ACS)
-heading west in the direction of Frostburg, at 9:34 am and 2:34 pm
-heading east in the direction of Cumberland, at 8:32 am, 9:53 am, and 1:21 pm.
For all other trips, passengers can board inside the Weis Market shopping center parking lot, 17600 Old National Pike SW, near the front doors.
